Job summary
The Sales Director of Club Channel is responsible for leading and accelerating ZURU's growth across the U.S. Club retail landscape — including Sam's Club, Costco U.S., and BJ's Wholesale .This role owns the strategic direction customer relationships business planning forecasting and cross-functional coordination required to unlock long-term profitable growth across the Club Channel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the Club Channel including assortment innovation pipeline pricing promotional planning.
- Identify whitespace opportunities new category expansion year-round vs seasonal levers to grow ZURU's presence.
- Lead annual planning with all Club retailers Build manage a robust item pipeline in partnership with Product Marketing Business Operations teams serve as primary point of contact senior relationship owner for CLUB Retailers build strong trust-based partnerships merchants senior leadership cross-functional retail partners own P L revenue targets margin trade spend profitability deliver accurate forecasting demand planning inputs inventory management guidance monitor analyze performance KPIs identifying risks opportunities corrective actions partner closely Commercial team shape innovation meets CLUB shopper merchant needs work Marketing develop compelling shopper stories packaging value propositions collaborate internal external teams ensure on-time deliveries cost clarity logistics operational excellence mentor develop high-performing team supporting CLUB business drive ZRU culture speed accountability data-driven decision-making relentless improvement represent values influencing internally externally clarity conviction 5–8+ years sales experience consumer goods toys seasonal CPG related categories 3+ managing major accounts (Sam s Costco BJs) proven track record owning P forecasting sustainable revenue profitability growth deep understanding merchant processes buyer expectations set-up requirements communication negotiation presentation skills analytical mindset using financial models insights tools highly organized multiple programs timelines entrepreneurial spirit proactive mindset thrive fast-paced high-growth organization
