    Overview of Position

    We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Global Finance Transformation to help lead our finance function into the future.

    This key new role will be instrumental in driving process automation initiatives and enhancing accounting controls across our global operations.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, financial reporting & accounting controls, process improvement and technology implementation, with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, multinational organizations.

    The VP, Finance Transformation reports to the Chief Accounting Officer/Controller.
    What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
    Develop and execute a comprehensive finance transformation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within finance operations.

    Drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), and data analytics, to streamline financial processes and improve effectiveness of controls.

    Utilize knowledge of finance and accounting processes to enhance accounting controls and compliance frameworks to mitigate risks of financial statement error and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

    Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of finance systems and technologies, optimizing data flow and information exchange.
    Oversee the design and implementation of standardized finance processes and procedures to promote consistency and scalability across the organization.

    Take an active role in evaluating significant business events (M&A, new clients, etc.) and ensuring appropriate processes and controls are established.

    Provide leadership and guidance to finance teams globally, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.
    Partner with senior executives and stakeholders to communicate progress, solicit feedback, and drive alignment on finance transformation initiatives. Provide presentations and updates directly to the Board of Directors on occasion.
    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of finance transformation efforts and make data-driven decisions.
    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in finance transformation, incorporating learnings into the organization's strategy.

    The VP, Finance Transformation will lead an agile team of resources to be further defined and supported as this new team takes shape.

    Expectation is to create a high-performing team that will help develop and feed talent into the organization.

    What are the requirements needed for this position?
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing finance transformation initiatives.

    Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, with experience implementing SOX compliance initiatives.
    Proven expertise in process optimization, automation, and change management within a global finance function.
    Demonstrated track record of successfully leading large-scale technology implementations, preferably in the finance domain.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams across geographies and functions.
    Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and stakeholders.
    Big 4 accountancy firm experience is strongly preferred.
