- Perform electronics engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
- Provide engineering expertise to activities such as development, testing, evaluating, training and configuration management in support of an acquisition program
- Provide engineering support on the transport and networking architecture focused on current and future tactical network capabilities
- Support design reviews and perform thorough, in-depth technical evaluations/assessments of network performance and architectures, to include support of risk assessments and integration strategies
- Support Capability Set (CS) and Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) activities
- Effectively collaborate with organizations to include, but not limited to PEO C3T, other PMs and PdMs, ACM and other Army wide stakeholders and coordinate on interoperability considerations
- Review and understand acquisition documentation (e.g
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- PhD in Engineering, Software Engineering, Network Engineering or similar technical field of study
- Minimum of 15 or more years' of engineering experience (software/network, Satellite, RF engineering), to include at least five (5) years' of Program Executive Office (PEO) Program Manager (PM)-level experience with Tactical Network (TN)
- Knowledge in the following areas: commercial communications equipment; transport and network architectures; end-to-end network design and performance; voice/data transmission and backbone networks; RF engineering; tactical communications electronics
- Deep knowledge of, and experience in: network engineering; designing and implementing LANs or VLANs; routing protocols, multicast, routing configurations, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, etc.; network protocol analysis using tools such as Sniffer or Wireshark; VMware
- Experience working with teams of technical personnel and collaborating with other organizations or shareholders
