    SQL DBA

    H4, GC, USC
    6 + Months Contract

    This position will be remote to start off with but candidate needs to be in one of these markets: IL (Chicago , Naperville, Waukegan) or Tulsa, OK or Richardson, TX.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • SQL Server Upgrade experience
    • Good Communication skills
    • Knowledge with Database Design and Theories
    • Ability to work with Data Architects and other IT Specialist to Set Up, Maintain and Monitor Data Networks
    • Database Structure Language SQL or SQL/PSM
    • SQL Server Developer
    • SQL Server T-SQL including table design/creation, Stored Procedures, Triggers etc.
    • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages - developing new, modifying existing ones and Debugging SSIS package issues.
      • Both package and project deployment model
    • Performance Tuning
    • Problem solving skills including debugging issues related to database.
    • SQL Authentication and/or Windows Authentication including Active Directory
    • SQL Server Directory set up including recommending drive sizes etc.
    • Database Management Best Practices
    • IT Security Best Practices
    • SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).
