    Description
    *Clinical Nurse Specialist / Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) & Cardiovascular Acute Unit

    As the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides clinical leadership and expertise for population-based nursing care to integrate evidence-based care, advance clinical practice, achieve optimal nurse-sensitive patient outcomes and facilitate transitions of care.

    *Minimum Qualifications for a Clinical Nurse Specialist / Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) & Cardiovascular Acute Unit** 5+ years of recent experience in Pediatric Intensive Care required.

    • Previous CNS experience preferred.
    *Education/Licensure/Certification:
    • Master's, post-graduate, or doctoral degree from an accredited CNS program and current CNS (Pediatric/Neonatal) certification (from American Nurse Association-American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) OR
    • American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACCN)
