LabCorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary specimen collections in a patient service center, handle specimen processing and data entry, and provide exceptional customer service.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training, at least one year of outpatient experience preferred, reliable transportation, and the ability to work varied schedules including occasional Saturdays and overtime.

In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.

Work Schedule:
Your planned work schedule will be Monday thru Friday 8:30a.m. - 5:00p.m. and rotational Saturdays 7:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.

Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.

PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed


Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Reliable transportation required

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test 1+ year of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient setting is highly preferred
