    Currently, Envolve is searching for a property accountant/bookkeeper to work in the Montgomery, AL office.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary.The Property Accountant will be responsible for the following:

    • Reconcile bank statements monthly
    • Responsible for assigned mortgage escrows, replacement reserve, and tax and insurance accounts
    • Post recurring journal entries for prepaid and accrued expenses on a monthly basis
    • Receive and review operational invoices from properties and issue checks in a timely manner
    • Make mortgage payments monthly
    • Manage operating cash accounts for assigned properties
    • Record NSF receipts and bank fees
    • Organize, scan, and file all accounting documents and periodic reports
    • Assist and provide other departments with financial information as directed
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with management, staff, owners, lenders, and auditors
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to multi-task
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred but not required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computer accounting systems
    • One year experience in accounting with a degree or 3-5 years experience.
    • Experience with Yardi preferred but not required.
    • General Ledger experience
    • Experience in recording of journal entries.
