Our new 30-bed hospital features three ORs, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. This new, state-of-the art facility also provides larger, more spacious patient rooms, designed with your comfort in mind.

    Angel Medical Center, located in Franklin, NC, is a full-service, critical access hospital, serving Macon and the surrounding counties. Outpatient services include a wound clinic, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The hospital also operates Mission My Care Now – Angel and CarePartners Hospice & Palliative Care.

    Angel Medical Center has been named an Acute Stroke Ready hospital by the Joint Commission and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association; Get With the Guidelines – Stroke Plus with Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus from the American Stroke Association; and Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll from the American Heart Association.

    General Comments

    • Outpatient Physical Therapy (Mixed patient population)
      • No double booking
      • No overlapped patients
      • 60 minute evaluations
      • 40 minute follow ups
      • Clinicians do not need to schedule or perform insurance operations
      • Productivity goal is 70% (2.7 units per hour with evaluations weighted based on complexity)
      • Manager on site
