Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. (CRCSI) is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Long‑Term Structured Residence (LTSR) program. In this role, you'll be an essential part of an interdisciplinary treatment team—supporting residents, assisting nursing staff, and helping ensure high‑quality medical care within a therapeutic, recovery‑focused setting.
If you want a role where your clinical skills truly matter and your work directly improves the lives of others, this is the opportunity for you.

- Updating the Medication Administration Record (MAR) in the electronic medical record
- Following all medication administration protocols in accordance with PA law and LTSR regulations
- Assisting with resident intakes and discharges
- Monitoring client progress and safety, including crisis intervention when needed
- Supporting the nursing team with clinical and administrative tasks
- Communicating professionally with residents, families, providers, and outside agencies
- Presenting resident updates and treatment recommendations to the psychiatrist
- Ensuring all documentation meets DHS and licensing requirements
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage appointments, follow-ups, and prior authorizations
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person communication
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to support your professional growth
- Promote a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment aligned with recovery principles
What Makes You a Great Fit
You're someone who can:
- Communicate clearly—verbally, non‑verbally, and in writing
- Stay organized, multitask, and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Work independently while being a strong team player
- Respond calmly and appropriately in crisis situations
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality at all times
You will also need the ability to:
- Sit or stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Drive safely in different weather conditions
- Use EMR systems and perform standard office/clerical functions
Why Join CRCSI?
At CRCSI, you'll join a mission-driven team that values compassion, teamwork, and high‑quality care. You'll receive ongoing support, opportunities to grow, and the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
