    As an Industrial Design Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative product designs. You will be responsible for conducting research, generating concepts, creating prototypes, and refining designs based on user feedback.

    Not only will you be involved in the early stages of the design process, but you will also play a vital role in ensuring the manufacturability and quality of the final products.

    This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, material science, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Business, to define product requirements and specifications
    • Conduct user research to understand user needs and preferences
    • Generate creative and feasible concepts that meet user and business goals
    • Create detailed High Fidelity Models, renderings, and prototypes
    • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure product functionality and manufacturability
    • Conduct design reviews and seek feedback from stakeholders
    • Conduct usability tests and iterate designs based on user feedback
    • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations
    • Create and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design files
    • Collaborate with suppliers to source and select appropriate materials and finishes
    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • Proven experience in design: Consumer Electronics, Military, IOT, Smart Products
    • Strong knowledge of design principles, material science, and manufacturing processes
    • Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Detail-oriented and a keen eye for aesthetics
    • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
    • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
    • Understanding of usability and human factors engineering
    • Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects
