FiberTel is looking for an HDD Operator for our Albuquerque NM location A successful HDD operator will be responsible for setting up and completing drilling variable-sized underground boreholes and pulling back the required conduit pipe As a Directional Driller Equipment Operator you are responsible for running various directional drilling equipment such as Vermeer Ditch Witch Vac Truck Mud Truck Excavator Forklift Dump truck Locator along with others not listed Responsibilities include but are not limited to Loading driving delivery digging removal and placement of various types sizes weights of construction materials equipment Locate for Horizontal Directional Drill installation of underground conduit fiber optic cable Ensure safety of public utilities underground facilities Operate Horizontal Directional Drill Assist in potholing remediation Assist with setting hand holes completing tieins Ability to Read Comprehend utility locates Set equipment up including drill water tanks grounding machine Ability to properly formulate mix drilling mud site conditions Ability perform proper reaming pullback methods existing conditions Oversee laborers crew members work time usage Ability clean maintain equipment check fluid levels conduct visual inspection vehicleperformance assure your vehicleequipment performing optimum safety perform pretrip post trip inspections reports needed maintenance including winterizing equipment Communicates Supervisor daily turnin required reports Bore log vehicle maintenance reports crew time logs etc Follows specifications company policies Complies safety procedures on off project site Strive optimal production while working safely performing quality work
