    Position: Head of Events

    Location: Austin, TX - Onsite M-Th

    Status: Full-Time

    Duration: Full-Time

    Starts: May 2024

    Salary: $110,000- $120,000 annually + 20% bonus incentive

    Our financial services client has an immediate need for an experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Events. This opportunity is direct-hire, located in southwest Austin and is on-site M-Th with WFH Fri, 40hr/wk.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with a focus on an annual thought leadership conference, advisor councils, recognition events and employee engagement. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Events will play a vital role in brand image, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth through impactful event experiences.

    Responsibilities include:

    Developing and executing comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational objectives and divisional needs

    Leading a team of event professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams

    -Overseeing the planning, budgeting, and logistics for all events

    Cultivating and maintaining relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners

    Driving innovation in event design and delivery

    Measuring and analyzing event performance metrics

    Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and staying abreast of industry trends.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field


    • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably within the wealth management sector


    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful event strategies


    • Ability to lead and manage a team of event professionals


    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills


    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously


    • Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape


    • Proficiency with budgeting and financial analysis


    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards


    • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards


    • Working knowledge of event planning software and technology solutions
