    Overview

    TalentFish is casting a line for a Software Engineer Data Analysis. This is a hybrid, direct hire role in Louisville, KY or St. Louis, MO.

    What You Bring To The Role.

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    Proficiency in source code control management systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience in Python software design.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience in advanced SQL query optimization.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience in developing containerized applications with Docker and deploying via Kubernetes.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience in software testing, performance optimization, and quality engineering strategies.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience with AWS services and PostgreSQL.
    Must have a Cloud Certification with either GCP or AWS .

    What You'll Do.

    Execute diverse application development tasks including unit testing, code deployment, and technical documentation across multiple projects.

    Ensure seamless operation and reliability of production applications by swiftly responding to incidents and participating in a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 support coverage.

    Contribute to estimation processes, test plan reviews, and project planning, while diagnosing and resolving performance issues effectively.
    Meticulously document code and processes for easy accessibility by other developers.
    Architect, develop, and manage high-scale applications prioritizing operational excellence, security, and scalability from backend to UI layers.

    Implement modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code, collaborating across teams to integrate external systems.

    Engage in technology roadmap discussions to translate business requirements into actionable plans within an agile engineering team.

    Triage product or system issues, debug, and resolve by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on network or service operations and quality.

    Proficiently write, debug, and troubleshoot code in mainstream open-source technologies, leading efforts for Sprint deliverables and solving medium-complexity problems.
