    Description

    The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, has an exciting opportunity for two full time Neurologists to join as faculty on or about September of this year.

    One full time position is available immediately for a board certified/board eligible adult Neurologist.

    The candidate should be capable in both General Neurology and Stroke, as the hospital is a Primary Stroke Center on track for thrombectomy capability by the end of 2019.

    The ideal candidate would have additional qualifications as a Neurohospitalist or in Stroke.

    Responsibilities include direct inpatient (Ward or Consultation services) and some outpatient care as well as teaching and supervision of Residents and mid-level Providers.

    Candidates must have an MD degree and a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.

    We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
