    Duties


    Supervisory Program Analyst (Deputy Division Director)

    The purpose of this position is to direct the general day-to-day operations that include managing and supervising the administrative and operational activities of the organization. Additionally, the incumbent identifies and monitors program/project requirements and plans, to include resources through the life cycle of complex programs. Duties Include:

    • Manages the development of capabilities-based assessments (CBAs) based on analysis of public health consequences and conventional disaster scenarios.
    • Manages development of requirements for capabilities needed to deliver on Emergency Support Function.
    • Manages the development of materiel and non-materiel requirements for medical countermeasures necessary to respond to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) incidents.
    • The incumbent develops, modifies, and/or provides input to program strategic goals, procedures, and methodologies.
    • Implements, coordinates, and integrates project activities; participates in program phase and milestone reviews; and conducts program studies.
    • Identifies and resolves problem areas related to implementation and achievement goals.
    • Reviews policy guidance and other planning documents to ensure adequate support within the phase of the program.
    • Assesses program effectiveness or the improvement of complex program and management processes and systems encompassing difficult and diverse functions or issues that affect critical aspects of the program/projects.
    • Provides administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the office.
    • The incumbent may be requested to participate in/support public health and emergency medical responses to national security incidents.
