The Field Service Representative (FSR) Instructor II operates and provides instruction and evaluation on Medium UAS (MEUAS), specifically the Jump20 platform,in various locations around Petaluma with frequent travel outside of this location.
Responsibilities
- Operates , instructs , and evaluates on Unmanned Air Systems ( UAS ) in field
- Performs flight demonstrations in Support of AV product line & Business Development
- Coordinates directly with agencies customers internal & external to plan coordinate personnel / equipment support Flight Demo Events . Performs customer on-site software / hardware upgrades repairs refresher training assists new equipment deliveries/ inventory conducts periodic customer site visits assess mission readiness .
Represents AV's products services subject matter expert attending conferences exhibitions symposiums Works with customers understand CONOPS shape solutions for customers Assists BD capturing business leads follow-on orders Ensures system operations established procedures conducted safely Conducts necessary UAS equipment material inventories Immediately advise Flight Training Manager customer representatives controlling authorities changes affecting planned MUAS training flights operations Maintains operational status MUAS supporting systems Situational awareness air vehicle location flight status threats aircraft from air ground Continually re - evaluate risk assessments take appropriate actions mitigate elevated risk levels Completes documentation required flight operations equipment operational data collection post-flight procedures Captures critical information after-action reports lessons learned databases Effectively leads trains mentors small groups students Instructors meeting course objectives Applies company policies procedures resolve complex issues Determines methods procedures assignments supervises coordinates activities others Conduces evaluations Evaluator respective specialty AVO Mech Other duties assigned
