- Conduct resident rounds to evaluate nursing care quality
- Ensure proper charting and documentation
- Recommend nursing personnel levels
- Participate in budget processes
- Maintain knowledge of regulations and reimbursement systems
- Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program
- RN license in the state
- Management experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric nursing
- Current RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Additional certification in nursing specialty desired

As the DON, you will plan, coordinate, and manage the nursing department, ensuring quality care for residents. You will supervise nursing care by registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and STNA/CNAs.
