    SAP On-Site Support Specialist Responsibilities of the SAP On-

    Site Support Specialist:
    McLane Advanced Technologies is seeking to hire an SAP On-Site Support Specialist in various locations
    The SAP On-Site Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our deployment processes and post Go-Live phase
    Positioned at selected Hub locations for 120 days after the wave Go-Live, this role involves a multifaceted set of responsibilities to facilitate user support and operational effectiveness

    The SAP On-Site Support Specialist will:

    • Provide prompt and effective troubleshooting for user issues that may arise post-Go-Live
    Address these concerns in a timely and efficient manner.


    • Conduct ad-hoc training sessions to enhance end-users' understanding of the system and related processes.
    • Track, research, and escalate trouble tickets as necessary to ensure a successful deployment.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues effectively.
    • Strategically position support personnel to maximize their value to the deployed community across various geographical locations.
    • Assist customers in navigating the Department of Defense Enterprise Resource Planning (DoD ERP) system, helping them resolve issues related to process knowledge, incorrect master data, or systemic problems.
    • Administer refresher training on key business process areas for end-user personnel.
    • Provide support in the form of official documentation and resources to facilitate the completion of DoD ERP General Funds related business operations, covering areas such as Cost Management, Financials, Funds Management, Reimbursable, and Spending Chain.
    • Participate in regular conference calls with the Deployment Team and Parent Financial Management Organization to provide support, resolve business user issues, and address concerns.
    • Offer support through various communication channels, including emails, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams calls, to ensure the deployed community's needs are met.
    • Collaborate with parent organizations to assist support personnel with DoD ERP General Funds issues and concerns, fostering effective communication and problem resolution.
    • Play a vital role in the resolution of end-user problems and incidents, ensuring that trouble tickets are escalated when necessary for timely and efficient resolution

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
    • 2 years of experience supporting SAP.
    • 3 years of overall hands-on IT experience.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with DoD ERP or similar systems is a plus.
    • Willingness and ability to travel and be on-site as needed.
    • Adaptable and able to work effectively in dynamic environments.
