    SUMMARY:
    Research, design, and develop computer software systems compliant withsystems level interface, operational, and performance requirements.
    Analyze systems and software requirements and elaborate them intodesigns within the constraints of fidelity, quality, cost, and schedule.
    Develop and test software to these designs.

    SIGNING BONUS:


    A \$15,000.00 signing bonus will be paid out in two installments: thefirst installment will be 70% paid at the time of the employees firstpaycheck; the second installment will be 30% paid upon completionoftwelvecontinuous uninterrupted months of employment.

    All bonuses aresubject to local, state, and federal withholdings.

    In the event that youleave the company within12months of your date of hire, you will beresponsible for reimbursing the company for the entire 100% of thesigning bonus.

    *Signing bonuses are not applicable to candidates hired through athird-party hiring agency.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Analyze computer processing requirements. Specify and recommend purchaseof computational systems which provide the computational capabilitiesrequired.

    Review program specifications and computational system specificationsand consults project, systems, and hardware engineers to identify andevaluate interface requirements between the hardware and software.

    Define top-level interface requirements within the software consistentwith system interfaces.

    Analyze operational and performance requirements of the overall systemand define candidate top-level systems and software design approachesconsistent with these requirements.

    These analyses include considerationof hardware computational capabilities, system latencies, spare timerequirements, etc.

    Perform value engineering trade studies of candidate top-level designsolutions to determine the optimum solution given fidelity, quality,schedule, and cost constraints.

    Develop detail systems and software designs via analyses, elaborationand decomposition of top-level interface, operational, and performancerequirements. Develop software computer code compliant with detaildesign requirements.
    Perform integration test, acceptance test, and delivery of softwareimbedded products.
    Identify and manage risks to eliminate unplanned problems and minimizecosts.
    Develop proposal inputs, technical reports, design specifications, testspecifications, and test procedures as required for assigned programs.
    Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Technical supervision. No administrative supervision responsibilities.

    EDUCATION and/or


    EXPERIENCE:


    Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in engineering, physics, or equivalent; up to 6years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

    Background must demonstrate a thoroughknowledge of the sciences underlying software engineering.


    LANGUAGE SKILLS:
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature.
    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability toeffectively present information to management, and colleagues.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    Ability to comprehend and calculate ratios and percentages, Ability tocomprehend and apply principles of modern algebra.


    COMPUTER SKILLS:
    Solid Technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Officeapplications are essential. Experienced and proficient in the use ofstandard personal computer software tools; including word processors,spreadsheets, presentation graphics and databases.


    REASONING ABILITY:
    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drawvalid conclusions.


    CITIZENSHIP:
    U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Clearance
