A health services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Night shift team as an Assistant Nurse Manager.

In this role, the Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Nights Hours: 9pm to 7:30am Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)


Responsibilities:
The Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) will: Direct and coordinate patient and unit activities Ensure the continual delivery of quality patient care in compliance with policies and standards Assist the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of the select group of patients Participate in educational activities related to the NICU Participate in clinical research studies Participate in direct patient care, as required Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Bachelor's Degree in Nursingand/or a related field NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license Computer savvy Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Desired Skills:
Master's Degree in Nursing and/or a related field American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification in Specialty area
