California Public Employees Retires Systems (CalPERS) seeks an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the Customer Education and Outreach Division (CEOD), San Jose Regional Office.
Please Note: This position is based in San Jose. The San Jose Regional Office is located at 181 Metro Drive, Suite 520, San Jose, CA
Office coverage is required from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overnight travel may be required along with working after normal business hours and weekends please consider this before applying.
The Customer Education and Outreach Division (CEOD) is the first point of contact for CalPERS active and retired members; providing member educations, walk-in help, and response to customers contacting us by telephone and correspondence. The CEOD Regional Offices are responsible for providing in-person help to active and retired members by conducting presentations, meeting with customers on an individual basis about retirement and health benefits, and applying the Public Employee Retirement Law (PERL), the Public Employee's Medical and Hospital Care Act (PEMHCA), and new legislation and policy initiatives in answering customer inquiries.
