    In the Clinical Resident role, you will have the opportunity to partake in our comprehensive BCBA-led, BCBA Apprentice Program and gain access to essential training and mentorship in preparation for your BCBA examination on the journey to obtaining your BCBA certification.



    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a dedicated Clinical BCBA Resident who is actively pursuing their BCBA certification to join our amazing team in Alamo, TX.

    This role supports the clinical needs of our clients in various settings, including clinic, home, and community environments. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator focused on clinical excellence.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Support Clinical Programs:

    Assist Clinic Directors and BCBAs with the delivery of individualized ABA therapy programs, maintaining rapport with patients and caregivers, and updating programming goals.


    Implement Treatment Plans:
    Carry out treatment plans for assigned clients through direct therapy, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based interventions.

    Data Collection and Analysis:
    Conduct program reviews, collect and analyze data, draft goals, develop interventions, and implement changes under BCBA guidance.

    Feedback and Supervision:
    Provide formal and informal feedback to RBTs, facilitate initial and ongoing training, and ensure high fidelity of services.

    Parent Training:
    Facilitate parent/caregiver training, conduct behavioral assessments, develop behavior protocols, and monitor client progress.

    Collaboration:

    Act as a liaison between clients, caregivers, and the BCBA team, coordinating with other service providers to optimize patient care.


    Documentation:
    Complete progress reports, manage clinical documentation, prepare insurance reports, and ensure consistency in care.

    Professional Development:

    Actively participate in supervision opportunities, review patient progress, identify appropriate modifications, and collaborate with other team members to support professional development.


    Qualifications:
    Masters degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education, special education, or related field.
    2-5 years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
    Actively pursuing BCBA certification.
    Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to complete.
    Approved Crisis Prevention training or willingness to complete.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
    Passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
    Ability to work in a collaborative team.
    Willingness to learn and implement new skills.
    Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.

    Participation in our BCBA-led, BCBA Apprentice Program, supporting completion of supervised fieldwork hours, with access to essential training, mentorship, and resources in preparation for BCBA examination.

    Eligibility for benefits if working at least 30 hours per week.
