    Oracle Cloud Test Lead

    Location:
    San Diego, CA (Hybrid - remote/onsite: 100% remote in Dec, required to be onsite 3+ days a week for UAT which will start end of Jan through end of project)
    Contract to hire position.

    Must Haves:

    5+ years leading QA testing projects in substantial enterprise environments.
    Demonstrable experience with Oracle Fusion application
    Looking for finance expertise and experience working with at least one of the following business processes: (*one with AP and one with AR)
    Accounts Payable
    Accounts Receivable
    Projects/Assets
    Proficiency in integration and UAT testing across platforms as well as functional/usability testing.
    Mastery in using bug tracking tools and delivering clear status reports coupled with quality metrics.
    Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a UAT Test Coordinator to join our Oracle Cloud Migration project team.

    You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition from Oracle EBS and Great Plains to Oracle Fusion by coordinating and executing robust UAT activities.

    As a functional area SME, you will work closely with business testers to ensure that end-to-end workflows across different user groups are validated effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    UAT Build

    Take ownership in UAT build for your given business units:
    Reviewing the UAT scope
    Understanding upstream / downstream business units and systems
    Building a golden data set for your given business units scope - working with the UAT data cutover team
    Update UAT test cases utilizing existing SIT scripts and expertise / scoping sheet
    Ensure test cases are uploaded to Jira meeting the projects scripting standards
    Provide updates via daily sync meetings and Reporting as defined by the Test Manager on build progress

    UAT Execution

    Regularly report on the progress of UAT execution, spotlighting key findings and potential areas of concern.
    Participate in project meetings as required for execution status
    Update status in Jira and any other necessary reporting tools as statuses change.
    Support in re-testing of defects ensuring environment stability for business

    Build, oversee and collect the UAT sign off documents with evidence for each of your given UAT business units test cases and upload to the required repository.

    Coordination

    Plan, coordinate & execute UAT schedules, execution procedures, and facilitate the creation of test data.

    Engage in regular communication with business leads to ensure alignment and effective stakeholder management throughout UAT execution and the preparation going up to it.

    Manage the defect process according to the UAT Approach/Plan, promptly addressing critical issues specifically for your business units.
    Contribute to daily and weekly UAT progress reports, highlighting challenges and defect statuses specifically for your business units.

    Collaborate with other UAT Coordinators and the Test Manager to ensure a unified approach to UA - including a daily sync-up.

    Qualifications
