Description

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of naval vessels, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ship design, including hull form development, structural design, and systems integration.

This position is a 6 month contract to hire and can be available as remote or mostly remote, Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of naval vessels, including concept development, detailed design, and production support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
Conduct engineering analyses and simulations to validate design concepts.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Participate in design reviews and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
Support the production and testing of naval vessels.
$110,000 - $170,000 a year
