- Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL-Invasive) setting
- Care for cardiovascular patients undergoing invasive procedures
- Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call required on nights, weekends, and holidays, with call assignments based on staffing
- Floating between departments and local sites within 20 miles is required
- EPIC EMR used; prior experience preferred but not required
- Perform patient assessments, implement care protocols, and document per policy
- Administer medications and assist with various procedures and surgical techniques
- Must perform competently during emergencies
- Testing on Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia is required on site during orientation, with one retake allowed
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Return policy: Former permanent staff must wait one year before being eligible as a traveler
- Active NM or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of current Cath Lab nursing experience
- Completion of at least one previous 13-week travel assignment
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross only)
- Must be a team player and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
