Job summary
Supports quality assurance efforts throughout casting forging finishing and machining production processes Develops and maintains inspection plans control plans and PFMEAs Conducts hands-on product inspections metallurgical tests including hardness ultrasonic dimensional surface finish testing Operates interprets results from quality tools equipment such as CMM micrometers roughness testers hardness testers Performs root cause analysis implements corrective preventive actions using 8D 5-Why Fishbone techniques Ensures compliance applicable standards IATF ISO customer specific requirements Maintains accurate records quality data test results nonconformance reports Collaborates cross-functional teams support continuous improvement initiatives resolve quality issues Participates internal customer third-party audits Trains production maintenance personnel in quality requirements procedures May perform other responsibilities projects as needed
