12 month contract

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Package and label various products according to safety rules and regulations
Ensure products are packaged and labeled following Thermo Fisher policies
General upkeep of the Repackaging Area
Conduct daily warehouse maintenance
Adhere to warehouse safety guidelines
Other duties as assigned by Department Manager
Primarily packaging non-hazardous chemicals

Quality Responsibilities:

Follow departmental and Quality System procedures
Document process improvement opportunities
Complete orders with customer satisfaction in mind

Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities:

Follow EH&S policies and procedures
Demonstrate technical proficiency in applying EH&S standards
Contribute to audit readiness and participate in audits
Report incidents and cooperate with investigations
Support environmental health & safety commitments

REQUIREMENTS:

Document records and communicate effectively in English
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate with Microsoft Office knowledge
Basic math skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in chemical warehouse environment a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some heavy lifting may be required
Work an 8 hour shift standing with periodic walking
Handle chemicals safely with appropriate protective equipment
Wear safety shoes while working in warehouse

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
