    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a NV RN license and at least two years of acute care experience.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a hospital setting on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
    Patient population includes adults requiring telemetry monitoring
    Three 12-hour day shifts per week
    No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
    No on-call requirements noted
    Provide competent, efficient, and compassionate care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
    Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and complete admission assessments according to facility policies
    Must be able to deliver age-appropriate care across the adult lifespan
    References from two recent managers or supervisors are preferred, including at least one from the most recent employer
    All AHA certifications and required documents must be provided for consideration
    Travelers are not eligible if residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility

    Requirements
    Active NV RN license (no pending status accepted)
    Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program
    Minimum two years of recent full-time Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a US acute care hospital
    Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
    CPI certification required
    Must have valid US Social Security Number
    Submission of required documents including identification and certifications
