    Basic Qualifications


    Education Requirements:
    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.


    Clearance Requirements:
    Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate need for an Information Assurance Engineer in our Bloomington, MN location.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Proficient use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesProficient understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelinesProficient knowledge of cyber security technology and trendsContributes to the achievement of business objectivesRecognizes and incorporates various security designs and lessons learnedStrong written and verbal communications skillsAble to sell concepts and ideasProficient ability in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions as they affect the cyber design and implementationProficient ability to clearly report relevant cyber systems engineering designRegular contact with senior levels of internal security work groupsAbility to participate in or lead security work groupsWorks under limited directionContact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teamsMaintains contact with the external customers' security professionalsCreative thinker, good multi-taskerProficient in Microsoft Office applications

    Target salary range:
    USD $112,896.00/Yr. - USD $125,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
