Job summary

The CAMBA Cure Violence Program works with at-risk youths who are or may have been involved in street violence. The Outreach Worker will market the program to the community via street outreach to recruit clients.

Clients' progress will be monitored toward their goals via regularly scheduled telephone contact and/or face-to-face home and office visits.


Responsibilities
  • Reach out and market the program to the community via street outreach in order to recruit clients.
  • Assist in organizing responses to all shootings that occur in the targeted catchment area within 72 hours of receipt of notice of the shooting or killing.
