- Serve as a primary healthcare provider by conducting physicals, ordering tests, and prescribing medications
- Perform thorough history and physical assessments for patients of all ages
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests based on patient needs
- Prescribe appropriate treatments both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic
- Assist in surgical care when necessary and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and make referrals as needed
