    Description

    The Community Support Specialist I provide services to individuals with intellectual disabilities who are living in a licensed 24-hour community homes. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this individual is responsible for involving Individuals served in a person-centered approach to planning and participating in habilitation and enrichment services. This position will work alongside the program supervisor and other team members to ensure that the persons served have a safe, secure, and supportive living environment.

    Wage range begins at $15.50 per hour.

    **Schedule: 8AM - 4PM every other weekend off and alternating Tuesday and Thursday

    $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

    Qualifications
    • Associate degree in a health-related field and one (1) year related MH/PD/ID, Residential or Human Services experience
    • OR a High School Diploma or GED and three years of MH/PD/ID, Residential or Human Services experience
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • The ability to use core rehabilitation skills and to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
    • The ability to perform basic computer data entry required
