    Description

    Labcorp Biopharma Solutions is looking for a skilled cytogenetic technologist to join their team at the Indianapolis Central Laboratory Services (CLS) in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.     This role involves spearheading FISH testing capabilities in Indianapolis, from validation to conducting tests and ensuring quality control.     Job Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to global trials involving FISH testing and support anatomic pathology and histology operations.
    • Perform FISH processing, probing, and microscopic case reviews.
    • Review new test feasibility requests, assist with quotes, and drive method improvements.
    • Develop FISH scanning capabilities and engage the global team in case reviews.
    • Participate in validation plans for new methods, instruments, and process enhancements.
    • Attend investigator meetings and client visits, including occasional travel.
    • Train junior staff and provide expertise in anatomic pathology and histology.

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Baccalaureate in a Biological Science with FISH testing and microscopic review experience.
    • CG (ASCP) certification is a plus.
    • Experience is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Strong communication skills and client interaction abilities are highly valued.
