Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect/Analyst with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing data architecture solutions. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of Snowflake data warehouse, Power BI for analytics, and ETL tools like 5tran and DBT. Proficiency in schematic and dimensional data modelling, along with expertise in SQL, is highly essential for this role.
As a Senior Data Architect/Analyst at Yularatech, you will be responsible for leading the development of robust
data architectures that support the organization's analytical and reporting needs while ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.

Key Skills required

Power BI for creating interactive dashboards, visualization and reports.
SQL programming and query optimization
Snowflake advanced concepts such as resource monitors, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero-copy clone, time travel etc.
Primary Responsibilities
Data Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using
Snowflake as the primary data warehouse platform. Develop schematic and dimensional data models
that align with business requirements and support analytical use cases.
ETL Development: Lead design and implementation of ETL processes using tools like 5tran and dbt to
extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into Snowflake. Ensure data pipelines
are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from disparate sources,
including relational databases, cloud applications, and third-party APIs. Design and implement data
integration workflows to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Data Governance and Quality: Establish data governance policies and standards to ensure data
integrity, security, and compliance. Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to
identify and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies.
Reporting and Analytics: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and
analytics requirements. Lead development of Power BI dashboards and reports that provide
actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Performance Optimization: Optimize data architecture and SQL queries for performance and
efficiency. Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to enhance the speed and
scalability of data processing and analytics.
Documentation and Best Practices: Document data architecture designs, standards, and best
practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data modelling techniques,
SQL optimization, and data architecture principles.
Business Insights and Recommendations: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their
analytical needs and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Mandatory / MOST IMPORTANT
A minimum of 10+ Years of experience as a lead Data Architect/Analyst with hands on experience in
working with Snowflake, Power BI, ETL like 5tran, DBT etc.
Degree in Math, Science, CS or engineering preferred.
Schematic and dimensional data modelling skill is a must along with Sql.
10+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, database design, and data management roles,
with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience in understanding Manufacturing or Recycling industry specific data challenges, trends, and
regulations relevant to the organization's sector specifically, is a high value add.
Understanding of business processes like P2P, OTC and integration with Finance.
Strong knowledge in data governance, security, and compliance.
Excellent communication skills for effective team mentorship.
Ability to work independently, without local supervision, and to demonstrate self-management and
seniority.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets, identify
trends, patterns, and insights.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and experience in designing data
solutions on cloud-based architectures.
Desirable
A Microsoft/ Azure / AWS related certification is considered a significant plus.
Being a Snowflake Certified Professional, is a plus.
Hands-on experience in working with spreadsheets with Macros, pivot tables etc
Experience in Manufacturing or Recycling industry.
