    Project Manager

    Reports To

    Chief Creative Officer, Director of Production

    Job Overview

    The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that games, merchandise, and manufactured products are progressing according to the projected timeline and budget. The Project Manager will interact with multiple departments inside the organization and outside partners/vendors to coordinate production-related needs.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Keep an overhead view of all production aspects of assigned projects - talk to any involved team members to ensure things are running smoothly and progressing.
    • Update LRGs internal project tracking tool to accurately reflect each assigned projects status.
    • Order project components through various vendors and online sources.
    • Find and qualify new sources as needed for unique components.
    • Identify opportunities to improve procedures, product offerings, and vendor/partner relationships.
    • Perform quality checks on goods upon arrival to ensure that all items appear and function as expected
    • Communicate with
      • Vendors - to obtain quotes and facilitate production.
      • Developers/Partners - to answer their questions, provide project updates, and ask for approvals or assets as needed. Work with team members to tactfully prevent project scope and deadline creep.
      • Art Department - to coordinate creation of art assets for production, and to help facilitate creation of assets by providing templates and answers to production questions as needed.
      • Financial Department - to provide quotes, receipts, invoices, and project cost information as requested.
      • Customer Support - to answer questions about production timelines and production-related issues as needed.
      • Shipping/Receiving - to give advance notice regarding incoming products, and coordinate the transfer of any goods needed for production.

    Qualifications

    • Successful project management experience
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
    • Ability to adapt, and solve problems creatively
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Adobe Creative Cloud skills, and experience with project management software platforms are a plus
