    Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:

    Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), the largest private Outdoor Advertising firm in the U.S., is seeking a Regional Business Manager (RBM) to perform financial and operational analysis in support of its markets. Each of the RBMs serves as the strategic partner to a General Manager(s) across multiple markets.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE:
    • Work closely with and support the General Manager(s) (GMs) to drive the financial performance of each market
      • Each RBM supports ~2-3 of the 12 AOA markets
    • Regularly review rate and occupancy data with each market, provide guidance as to interpretation of data with emphasis on positive and negative trends.
      • Work with the GMs and other market leaders to develop and to maintain a rolling 90-day projection
      • Assist GMs / market leaders to evaluate new contracts
      • Identify performing and non-performing units with recommendations to GMs
    • Work with the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller and Head of FP&A to develop and to maintain reports to measure key operational metrics, i.e., yield management reports.
    • Review staffing and expense levels with the stated goal of maximizing efficiency and profitability.
    • Generate capital expense requests and new build pro forma calculations in advance of submission to Corporate
    • Oversee the budget process for each market
    • Verify market compliance with all Company policies and procedures
    • Review the payroll preview files for each of their markets to ensure accuracy of data entry and compliance with all Company policies related to employee compensation
    • Review market income statement each month, communicate questions/concerns with the Corporate staff, and review department level expenses and generate variance analysis along with the department heads. Participate in monthly income statement review with the market and Corporate staff
    • Coordinate with Corporate staff to maintain accurate, consistent system data. Provide direction to the local market staff regarding defined procedures and data entry
    • Perform other functions as may be requested by the GM(s)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Four-year degree in business administration or similar field.
    • Five years' experience in an operational management, financial or analytical capacity
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to interpret financial reports and data
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel to regional markets (25% travel)
