Job summary
This is an entry-level custodial worker position that requires cleaning and maintaining facilities. The successful candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Cleans and maintains carpeted flooring by vacuuming, spot cleaning or extracting,
dusting horizontal and vertical surfaces including tables chairs counters desks bookshelves sills ledges diffusers vents walls elevator tracks doors marker chalk boards trays interior glass windows venetian blinds etc.
Cleans sanitizes water coolers public restrooms restocks supplies tissue towels hand soap empties waste receptacles removes trash debris excluding hazardous toxic materials materials deposited in SHARP boxes cleans maintains custodial equipment reports equipment supply needs supervisor reports needed repairs secures property prevents damage places caution signs cleans entrances walkways breezeways performs other duties assigned.
