CFO – Prominent Multiple High Net Worth Family Office – Midtown – $250k-$350k + B

(Compensation Commensurate with Experience)

Seeking a senior financial professional with in-depth experience in the implementation and management of financial operations for a premier family office. This role will oversee concierge services and address all financial needs for family members with sophisticated and varied global investments including private equity and hedge funds, equity and fixed income portfolios, real estate, artwork/collectables and more. This professional will oversee a team of talented tax, accounting, finance, treasury, operations, and wealth management professionals. Areas of expertise necessary must include family office, financial management, tax structuring, portfolio valuation and reporting, partnership accounting, budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, technology implementations, trusts/foundation, and estate planning.

This office current offers a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work one day a week from home.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead team in offering world class concierge financial services to prominent high net worth family
• Oversee team – experience managing and mentoring and hiring exceptional talent for our financial team. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, IT treasury and operations.
• Oversee Tax compliance- individual, trust, partnership, foundation, and tax planning
• Manage a complex environment of 100+ entities including individuals, trusts, investment partnerships, foundations.
• Act as a trusted advisor for multiple generations including wealth preservation, estate planning strategies/wealth transfer and philanthropy.
• Provide investment decisions and due diligence support regarding investment decisions- acquisitions/dispositions.
• Review legal agreements and lead special project teams.
• Oversee IT/ financial software and improve business processes systems and controls
• Oversee and monitor investment performance as well as bill pay, treasury and cash management.
• Ability to liaise with third party advisors (legal, tax, banking, insurance, finance)
• Build Culture of collaboration, goal achievement and trust.

Requirements:

• Professional Must have 10 + years of experience leading a HNW family office or a leadership role within a CPA firm, wealth management service group or private bank.
• Must have strong managerial experience and have direct exposure and earned trust of top level HNW family members
• Big 10, CPA, JD and MBA are all pluses. Tax knowledge is a must.
• World class professional who strives for excellence and discretion and honesty is implicit

Salary: $250k-$350k + B (Compensation Commensurate with Experience) and extraordinary benefits
