About the Hospital and Department:
Position will manage a growing 23 bed ED that sees over 48,000 annual patient visits
Very well-supported by a team of Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and a Department Educator
Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer
About the Director, Emergency Department (RN) Role:
Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary direction of the department, establishing goals and objectives, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building and maintaining positive physician relationships.
We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic leader who will be able to ensure the best patient care is provided to the community.
Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Emergency Department (RN):Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Active RN License
5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
2+ years of ER leadership experience at Manager level or above
INSPIRATIONAL and collaborative leadership style
Proven track record of success in leading teams, improving employee engagement, ED metrics, and patient experience/satisfaction
Must be able to build positive and collaborative relationships across all levels
