Join our dynamic team as a Remote Solar Sales Specialist operating on a 1099 independent contractor basis This energetic role is designed for motivated sales professionals eager to make a positive impact in the renewable energy sector. You will leverage your outside sales expertise, marketing skills, and multilingual abilities to connect with potential customers, educate them about solar energy solutions, and drive sales from the comfort of your own home. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to a sustainable future, empowering homeowners and businesses to harness clean energy.
Duties
- Engage with prospective clients through door-to-door outreach, virtual meetings, and community events to promote solar energy solutions.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and follow up effectively.
- Conduct detailed energy assessments and technical sales consultations to determine the best solar solutions tailored to each customer's needs.
- Negotiate contracts and financing options confidently, ensuring customer satisfaction and closing sales efficiently.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to generate new leads, including multilingual outreach campaigns if applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding clients through the installation process.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of professionalism, product knowledge, and ethical sales practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, especially in energy or solar sales environments.
- Strong marketing skills with the ability to develop outreach strategies that attract diverse audiences.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities to communicate effectively with a broader customer base.
- Experience with door-to-door sales techniques and community engagement.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with technical knowledge of solar energy systems and energy savings benefits.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with leadership qualities to motivate yourself and others in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with energy industry regulations, technical sales processes, and CRM software platforms.
