- Performs ancillary tasks like weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, urinalysis, pregnancy tests, and glucometer readings, updating the patient's EHR chart accordingly
- Conducts patient screenings to gather chief complaints, medical history, and allergy information, documenting all details in patient records
- Prepares examination rooms, sets up equipment, and assists providers during patient examinations and treatments
- Ensures patient comfort and safety throughout the care process
- Handles laboratory requisitions meticulously and promptly sends all specimens to the appropriate labs
- Conducts in-house laboratory tests as requested by providers, following CLIA standards, and accurately records results
- Manages inventory, restocks supplies, and keeps track of necessary requisitions
- Maintains precise clinical records in patient charts
- Completes required competencies by staying updated on knowledge and techniques, addressing any gaps as needed
- Demonstrates high proficiencies in all training areas during daily tasks and when supporting colleagues
- Participates in mandatory meetings and training sessions
- Performs other delegated tasks from management
