    Summary

    Pleasant View Early Learning is a registered ministry striving to intertwine God's word, with a robust curriculum in a safe, warm, and caring countryside setting in Warsaw, Indiana
    • Build a learning experience where exploration, creativity and nurturing are key
    • Promote spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in their care.
    • Work as a team in classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus follow all regulatory guidelines and company standards to ensure a safe environment for every child.
    • Build relationships, partner and professionally communicate with enrolled and prospective families to further their child's success.
    Duties

    We are hiring Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Flex Teachers who will:
    • Write lesson plans based on High Scope Curriculum
    • Plan age-appropriate activities to creatively engage children
    • Communicate professionally with parents through informal discussions, daily review, parent/teacher conferences
    • Lead by example, encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
    Requirements

    We are looking for energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 21 years old and have:
    • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans from a curriculum, a plus
    • CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field, is a plus
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • The ability to meet state requirements for education
    • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
    • Strong Christian character which includes regular disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer and participates in church life
    • Attend staff meetings and complete a minimum of 20 hours of professional development per year
