    Job Overview


    The Department of Romance and Arabic Languages and Literatures at the University of Cincinnati invites applicants for a non-tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor Educator of Italian language and culture.

    This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, three to five-year appointment with benefits and opportunity for renewal and promotion(s).

    Responsibilities include teaching Italian at all levels and developing new Italian culture courses for a broad audience and the certificate in Italian Language and Culture.

    Experience leading a study abroad program in Italy
    is highly desirable.

    Essential Functions
    Typical duties include teaching 9-13 credit hours per semester and service. M.A. degree or higher in Italian is required. Appointment begins August 15, 2024. Native or near-native fluency in Italian is required.
