    Position Summary

    Direct placement opportunity with our client, In support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) M Bureau Institutional Staff Support (MBISS) contract, the Management and Program Analyst (Senior) assists more senior and experienced project managers with a range of analytical functions associated with special studies, research, operations, organization, and policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidance. The senior-level MPA may also be assigned to specialized functions requiring relevant work experience as outlined in the associated scope of work. This position provides onsite support at the USAID Annex located in Washington, DC and is eligible for hybrid work with no less than 3 days in office per week.

    Essential Duties & Job Functions:

    • Conducts special studies or research projects related to program goals and issues.
    • Responsible for project resource utilization reports.
    • Manages and reports technical, cost, and schedule aspects of the project with respect to customer requirements in coordination with senior leadership.
    • Applies analytical and evaluative methods to promote improvements to operations
    • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates various operational plans, policies, directives, procedures, and systems to assess organizational impact
    • Senior specialists in conducting special studies or research projects related to specific program goals and issues
    • Analyzes operations management performance data to identify trends, issues, and problems, using quantitative and qualitative analyses
    • Plans, schedules, and analyzes management operations, procedures, and organizational structures as needed.
    • Identifies problems or deficiencies, and recommends solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations
    • Produces and presents information and findings in a variety of formats (e.g., dashboards, external reports, papers, studies, briefings, and other media)
    • Assists more senior and experienced project managers with management of technical projects to improve, modernize, upgrade.
    • Supports work streams focused around agency-wide policy development, prioritization, and implementation
    • Drafts correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda related to management and administrative programs and issues
    • Supports other operational performance management duties, as needed

    Mandatory

    • United States Citizen
    • Possess an active Secret Clearance
    • Ten (10) years of professional experience in a related field, (NO DEGREE REQUIRED) or (8) years experience plus a Masters Degree in a relevant field of study
    • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, internet, email, and database applications

    Preferred

    • Masters Degree
    • Previous USAID or other federal agency professional experience
