Job summary
The Admitting Representative ensures timely and accurate registration of all patients and is responsible for insurance benefit verification/certification and collecting the patient's anticipated financial responsibility at the time of service as applicable. Exemplifies excellent customer service at all times.Minimum Education: HSD or GED. Associate's Degree in healthcare related field preferred.
- 1 year related experience in health insurance field or two years hospital registration experience required
- Direct experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification desired
