    Description

    Seeking a 1st Shift QA Technician to work within the Baking Industry

    Description:

    This QA technician will be testing all of the manufactured baked goods along with recording their results within a computer system. This candidate will be asked to prepare samples for sales, provide customer returns, and work within a laboratory setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Retrieve samples from Frozen, Dry Mix and Wet Mix for testing and match up samples received against production records to ensure a sample is obtained from each batch produced.
    • Retrieve any missing samples from inventory, set up products and weigh and measure samples where appropriate, document your findings, and thaw, proof and bake/fry samples according to procedure
    • Document finished baked measurements and results
    • Provide support for Sales presentations or customer samples as needed
    • Put on hold any returned product until disposition is determined and re-test from returns and document condition and other pertinent information

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Baking experience with exposure to a wide variety of products
    • Food quality assurance testing experience
