    Description

    This position is located at the Civil EngineerSquadron (CES) of the 165th Airlift Wing in Garden City, Georgia.Working hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

    Duties & Responsibilities :

    ·Install raceways such as EMT, Rigid conduit, Cable Tray, and MC Cable.

    ·Install(pull) and terminate all wiring as required, install, and terminatereceptacles, switches, lighting ballast and other devices.

    ·Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as switchgear, motor controls, lighting and power panels, CT cabinets, and surgesuppressors.

    · Troubleshoot electrical components, transformers, motors, panelsand circuit breakers.

    ·Test electrical systems for continuity of circuits in electricalwiring, equipment, or fixtures, using devices such as voltmeters, ohmmeters,and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

    ·Inspect systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards,defects, or the need for adjustment / or repair and to ensure compliance.

    Agency Specific Qualifications and/or PreferredQualifications :

    Preference will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following:

    ·Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability tocomplete a company specific safety orientation. High standard of integrity andprofessionalism.

    ·Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, blueprints andbuilding
    specifications.

    ·Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronictesting

    equipment.

    ·Ability to follow the requirements of the National ElectricalCode.

    ·Possess State of Georgia Electrical License.
