    Accounts Receivable / Cash Receipts:
    Navigate the financial galaxy with online banking to review bank deposit activity.
    Record deposits like a maestro and tackle any discrepancies.
    Update Excel cash logs with the finesse of a spreadsheet wizard.
    Prepare manual deposits from the treasure trove of mail.
    Maintain client information and complete lien waivers with flair.
    Answer calls and emails from customers, turning accounting inquiries into epic adventures.

    Accounts Payable:
    Dive into the sea of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate entries.
    Review UPS freight bills and distribute them like a champion for approval.
    Prepare checks to vendors with a stroke of financial genius.
    Field calls and emails from vendors with account questions, solving mysteries.
    Maintain vendor master files and balance petty cash with finesse.

    Sales Tax Returns:
    Prepare state reports using a month-end download your financial telescope.
    Complete state sales tax returns and file them online like a digital hero.
    Process ACH payments or enter payable for checks with lightning speed.
    Update the monthly sales summary sheet with precision.
    Review and update customer sales tax exemption certificates like a tax superhero.

    General Ledger:
    Record journal entries as needed with exactitude.
    Reconcile general ledger account balances and cash accounts with the eye of a financial hawk.

    Payroll:
    Review timeclock entries and communicate discrepancies with superhero diplomacy.
    Summarize hourly personnel timesheets with the precision of a time lord.
    Update payroll software with personnel changes, ensuring a seamless payroll universe.
    Enter time data into software and file related workpapers like a time-traveling accountant.
    Prepare and enter journal entries into the business system like a payroll sorcerer.

    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
    Embark on special missions and projects assigned by the financial command center.
    Provide backup support when co-workers are on intergalactic breaks.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:
    Minimum 5 years of accounting experience you've been honing your skills in the financial universe.

    Preferred degree:
    Associates or Bachelor's in Accounting. While not mandatory, a solid academic foundation in accounting is a plus.
    Thrives in a smaller company environment, eager to embrace the opportunity to wear multiple hats. Enjoys a dynamic role that goes beyond traditional boundaries, contributing to various aspects of the business.
    Thorough knowledge of GAAP, audit, payroll, sales tax, treasury, and insurance you're a financial guru.
    Familiarity with accounting for multiple companies, divisions, and consolidations you're a financial multitasker.
    Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor Prophet 21 and Paylocity you're a software master.
    Advanced to Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications you're the office software Jedi.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written you can communicate with aliens.
    Valid and verifiable drivers license and record you've got the keys to the financial spaceship.
    Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, training, and safety clearances you're our superhero in the world of compliance.
