Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for executing the department's overall objectives for internal and external reporting and analysis. Customer service, teamwork and relationship management are important to ensure success in this position.
The successful candidate demonstrates a commitment to add value to our business by providing timely and accurate reporting and analyses key to management decisions.
The Financial Analyst position has the following responsibilities in their role as an extension of our team:Facilitate execution of the external audit by collecting, reviewing and distributing requested documents while limiting unnecessary disruptions to the business
Perform IFRS to US GAAP translations by creating and performing analysis for areas of difference in accounting treatment between standards for annual reports
Assist with creation of US GAAP financial statements and footnotes for multiple legal entities, including the accounting for complex technical accounting issues and resulting schedules
Assist in implementation of new accounting standards
Assist business with project proposals by facilitating requests to external auditors and producing reports to meet proposal requirements
Prepare internal financial reporting and analysis for both our parent company and our divisions by assisting the financial reporting team with key reports
Perform finance based special projects
Promote Customer Relations
Build effective relationships with internal and external customers that reflect and support the Company's core values that meet or exceed the customer's expectations
Strive to continually seek feedback and improve services/tools/department deliverables to internal customers

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
Current CPA or eligible CPA candidate actively pursuing certification
1+ years of experience in accounting, financial statement auditing, or financial reporting is required; 1 to 2 years of Big 4 public accounting audit experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of either IFRS or US GAAP, or both (preferred)Ability to work independently and demonstrate work assignment flexibility
Self-motivating, high energy, confident personality that can interact with all levels including senior management
Demonstrates solid verbal/written communication skills
Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, accounting applications and Microsoft products (e.g.
Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)About us
