    As the Regional Outreach Support Analyst at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL), you will serve as a cornerstone for the management and administrative outreach support of our regional leads in Texas, California, Massachusetts, and Illinois.

    Your role will involve close collaboration with regional teams to bolster the effectiveness of ARL Educational Outreach Office programs and activities.

    This position is housed within ARL's Research Business Directorate (RBD), Strategic Partners Division, Educational Outreach Office.

    In this role, you will work alongside mission partners to advance the ARL Outreach Portfolio, under the guidance and administration of the ARL's Educational Outreach Program Office.

    Offer comprehensive outreach support (both management and administrative) to the regional leads, by facilitating the coordination and management of regional outreach initiatives and projects.

    Collaborate closely with regional leads, staff, and external partners in the four key regions to enhance program delivery and impact.

    Develop, recommend, and implement tailored procedures for the effective tracking of regional Educational Outreach operations tasks.
    Prepare and manage responses to taskers and information requests from regional management, ensuring timely and precise communication.
    Establish and oversee procedures for compiling necessary information to respond to taskers and information requests, prioritizing accuracy and thoroughness.

    Monitor the progression of regional outreach actions to guarantee resolutions are reached promptly and schedules are maintained or adjusted as needed.

    Gather, analyze, and distill pertinent information from diverse sources to support the objectives of the Educational Outreach Program team in each region.

    Act as Outreach POC for Educational Partnership Agreements

    a.

    Assist regional leads in monitoring, assessing, and developing content and execution strategies for the programmatic aspects of the ARL outreach portfolio in their respective regions.

    b.

    Provide support to ensure the performance of the ARL Educational Outreach Program aligns with the strategic direction set by regional Project Leads.

    c.

    Facilitate interactions between government program managers, stakeholders, and participants to ensure task coordination for outreach program execution is planned and conducted effectively in all regions.

    d.

    Offer outreach logistical support to regional leads to establish written processes and procedures and work with program participants to ensure regional program goals are completed.

    e. Aid in the support of outreach data collection and program evaluation tasks pertinent to each region.
    f.

    Will assist the program manager with the following:
    Report weekly and monthly activities to the Project Lead.
    Report weekly and monthly activities of regional leads to the Project Lead.
    Manage research and equipment grants in support of regional initiatives.
    Administer cooperative agreements relevant to regional operations.
    Contribute to budget formulation and financial execution management for regional programs.
    Participate in regional strategic and operational planning.
    Support the administration and management of regional summer intern and faculty fellowship programs.
    Enhance education outreach programs by providing regional insights and support.
    Make recommendations for improving regional program components and processes.
    Coordinate activities supporting regional symposiums and seminars.
    Assist with annual management program reviews for each region.
    Job Requirements


    Experience and expertise required:
    Expertise in contemporary business computer tools (spreadsheets, databases, word processing, presentations, and graphics) is essential. The Microsoft suite of programs is preferred to ensure ready compatibility with Army systems currently in use.
    In addition, individual should have specific knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Access. These skills may have been acquired by the selectee through either on-the-job or formal training.
    Strong communication skills are essential, including both written and oral.
    Previous experience productively working in a collaborative program office environment.
    Experience producing, analyzing, and presenting data to audiences with diverse technical and non-technical backgrounds.
    Experience working and compliance with information security control policies and procedures.
    Previous experience working with the US government, the DOD, other similar agency in a coordinator position.
    10 years of increasing responsibility relative work experiences. Providing management and administrative support, emphasizing the significance of project coordination, communication, and leadership
